Interactive Art Installation

Inspired by Edwin Brock's 'Five Ways to Kill a Man' 'Six ways to Kill a Man | War of Choices' is a Design Fiction cum Interactive Art Installation that explores the possibility of a Third World War that would mark the failure of the United Nations just like the failure of the League of Nations before that. In the 21st century of mankind’s existence, the intellect of our species and the effort of passionate and hardworking scientists have made visible the invisible powers of nature that we apply to our daily lives. One such miraculous force is the Magnetic energy possessed by our planet which has helped explorers navigate for centuries and has protected the habitants of Earth from harmful space radiation even before we knew of its existence. However when one thinks about all the good that can be done using new discoveries and inventions thinking about how bad they can be is inevitable. Humans have had a history of weaponising the finest and noblest of inventions and discoveries that has lead to disasters severe enough to threaten the next generation of the planet’s species. It doesn’t take too long for man to forget the past and the consequences of history. The politics of unjust accusations has created turmoil in various countries prominently in North Korea, South Korea, U.S.A, India, China and Japan. This art installation engages with the idea that humanity would weaponise magnetic fields to disarm each others most valuable assets in todays age - information and communication. What happens when the world nations target satellites using magnetic forces to destroy their integrity while taking the risk of destroying satellites that the new age functions on ?
